Patios

Patios provide the floor to the outdoor room. They are often constructed with pavers, or flagstone. Either of these durable materials will provide a long-lasting foundation for the outdoor room.
Pavers provide a versatile color range including tans, browns, greys, blues, and reds. The style of the paver is also important. Paver styles can provide a formal and ridged appearance or convey a relaxed European, or cottage atmosphere. Pavers work well with inlays and color combintations to add a custom designer feel.

Flagstone is used to create a natural and sometimes rugged feel to a landscape. Flagstone is a natural material with colors including tans/browns, greys/blues, and even orange. Flagstone is often used in more causal settings.

Patios frequently include a fire pit area for sharing a warm evening with friends. Not matter your style, we can find the perfect paver for you!

Walls

The two main types of walls are sitting walls and retaining walls. Sitting walls are often used as a short wall around a patio floor. The walls are short enough to add extra seating if a few extra guests show up. Sitting walls also direct traffic on and off the patio area. A sitting wall often has at least one or more pillars that can be used for outdoor lighting during an evening meal or late-night bonfire.
Retaining walls are often created for the purpose of 'retaining' soil to take advantage of naturally occurring slopes and drops. Retaining walls play an important part in allowing additional areas of the landscape to be enjoyed and experienced.

Outdoor Kitchens

Finally, the functional area of outdoor living spaces is the outdoor kitchen. Kitchens are often integrated into the outdoor dining area. Planning the exact size and location of your kitchen can require a fair amount of planning. But, in the long-run it will add more value to the home.
